Launch has completed her JH title and will be competing at Senior Hunter level depending on decisions regarding breeding. She is doing incredibly well with training, the only thing that holds her back is lack of time on MY part to put into training and competing. Her talent and enthusiasm are boundless, and her training attitude is superb.

"Launch" is an incredible deep chocolate bitch that we were so lucky to get from Erin's Edge. Sired by "Rico" (littermate to Howdy and Man in Black) who is out of Lean Mac and Sweet Potato Pie, and out of "Kita", a Webshire's Honest Abe daughter, this girl appears to have it all! She's already a retrieving maniac, incredibly birdy, and fears NOTHING. She shows tremendous drive and intelligence, is extremely easy to train without being too soft or wimpy, and absolutely LOVES the water. We expect great things from her, and can't wait to watch her training progress. At almost 6months, she's coming along beautifully, and is a joy to live with. She gets along great the other dogs, cats and kids in the house, travels well, and is extremely well mannered, but really comes to life in the field.

Launch is VERY focused in the field. She follows the birds in the sky, never failing to look up when they fly overhead. She's showing some excellent marking skills lately as we've been stretching her out to longer distances, and the few times the bumpers have gone into cover, she's hunted them down with great enthusiasm. She tries hard to sit until sent, but really struggles with patience!

She took right to the water on the first day. She swam, retrieved, bounced, played and even submerged her head to look for something on the bottom of the lake.
