Each puppy was marked at birth with cotton crochet string. Each has a different color. The collars are checked multiple
times a day, and changed as often as needed - usually once a day. Each puppy is weighed every day for the first two weeks
to ensure they're getting enough to eat, and growing.
All the pups are raised in the house around kids, cats, & dogs. They are eventually exposed to regular household
noises like vacuums & dishwasher, as well as retrieving, leashes, crates, car rides, birds, and if weather permits
- water. They will be examined by the Veterinary Ophthalmologist at 6-7 weeks, vaccinated, microchipped, and be as ready
as possible to settle right into their new homes.
